USGBC Codes Committee
Codes Committee
The Codes Committee was established to address the regulatory barriers to high-performance green building and development. We do not seek to undermine or conflict with the life safety goals of building codes. Rather, we seek to promote a deeper acknowledgement of the risks associated with the built environment and to address all the responsibilities involved in safeguarding public health, safety and welfare in relation to those risks.
